The most frustrating GTA: San Andreas missions
There are numerous fun missions in GTA: San Andreas, but here are some of the most frustrating ones in the game.

GTA San Andreas’ missions are some of the best in the entire franchise, as they don’t all rely on you shooting enemies. Some missions require that CJ track down someone, while others could focus on the protagonist keeping up enemies so another character can shoot them. However, there are some missions that aren’t as fun for various reasons. Here are some of the most frustrating missions in GTA: San Andreas.
1. Supply Lines

Ironically, multiple GTA games have challenging missions that aren’t hard because the protagonist can die, but because of the vehicle you have to use. In Supply Lines, players are tasked with taking down five courier vehicles to ruin Berkley’s delivery business. The objective is straightforward, but the issue is that you must fly around San Fierro, find the couriers, destroy their vehicles, and return to Zero’s shop and land the plane.
This may seem simple, but the issue is that the plane has limited fuel, and it can easily be destroyed when the couriers start shooting or if you collide with obstacles. The plane’s controls are also awkward, which seems to be a recurring thing in some GTA missions. All these things combined make Supply Lines one of the most frustrating missions in GTA: San Andreas.
2. Wrong Side of the Tracks

This mission has become a meme among not just GTA fans, but all over the internet. CJ is tasked with driving and keeping up with a train, while Big Smoke shoots some Vagos. The issue is that Big Smoke’s shooting depends on how you drive. If you aren’t aligned perfectly, Smoke’s accuracy goes down.
This mission is one of the most frustrating in GTA: San Andreas because it tasks you with driving while Big Smoke kills all the Vagos before they can escape. This is if you want to complete the mission the game intended. Several frustrated fans have found creative ways to kill the enemies without relying on Big Smoke.
3. Freefall

This is another mission that involves CJ flying a plane, but this time it’s a larger aircraft, and the protagonist must use it to intercept another plane. CJ is given the mission by Salvatore Leone, who informs the protagonist that Forelli family hitmen are on the way. The mission requires CJ to steal a Dodo plane, intercept the incoming Shamal, and parachute into the other aircraft.
Freefall sounds like a straightforward mission on paper, but there are several elements that make it frustrating. The biggest issue players faced may have been the fact that the Dodo was an extremely difficult aircraft to control. CJ also has to line up behind the Shamal perfectly, which was tricky. Killing the hitmen is easy enough, but everything before that ensures that Freefall becomes one of the most frustrating missions in GTA: San Andreas.
4. Learning to Fly

San Andreas introduces vehicle proficiency, and CJ can master driving cars and flying planes. The game also has a flying school, which isn’t required to start flying aircraft, but is necessary to progress in the main storyline. There are multiple tests that CJ must take, with the protagonist being awarded medals based on his performance. Flying aircraft is already a tricky thing in most GTA games, and San Andreas’ flying school mission is no different.
CJ must control the aircraft perfectly in some tests, while others require flying through checkpoints. The protagonist uses different aircraft and also parachutes throughout the courses. Bronze awards in all 10 tests are the minimum requirements to pass. However, the biggest frustration in this mission is that the main storyline can’t be advanced before completing it.
5. Zeroing In

This is a mission with a straightforward task: using a tracking device to locate a woman. What makes the mission challenging is that CJ must stay close to the woman, or he won’t receive her updated location. The main objective is to ram the car off the road and steal it. However, CJ can’t destroy the car, as he needs to return it to the garage.
Zeroing In is frustrating to complete because players must stay close by to continue tracking her. If the trail goes cold, players could lose the mission. The car also continues through various areas, which makes the mission all the more challenging.
6. Robbing Uncle Sam

This is a mission CJ completes with Ryder, and it involves stealing weapons from Ocean Docks. The mission is relatively straightforward; CJ needs to use a forklift to lift six crates of weapons and load them into a truck. Ryder does the shooting, and CJ is primarily tasked with stealing the weapons.
There are several reasons why Robbing Uncle Sam becomes frustrating, with one of them being the forklift’s awkward controls. Soldiers also attack both CJ and Ryder while you steal the weapons. Ryder can die, leading to the mission failing. This is why players may have to concentrate on both awkwardly handling the forklift and also protecting Ryder.
7. Farewell, My Love…

This mission features two characters from GTA 3, Claude and Catalina. CJ is challenged to a race by Catalina, as she claims that the protagonist is jealous that she’s now in a relationship with Claude. Winning this race is mandatory, as it’s a main storyline mission and the reward is the deed to a garage in San Fierro.
The problem is that the race takes place in the countryside, and the terrain is hard to manage. You have to avoid obstacles while also ensuring you don’t lose control of your vehicle. Losing means having to restart the race from the start, which makes this one of the most frustrating missions in San Andreas.
