GTA 6’s original score by Justice confirmed for December release
Rockstar has detailed GTA 6's original score by Justice, confirming a December 11 release.

Rockstar Games has revealed new details about Grand Theft Auto VI’s original score, including a 30-track album, an adaptive soundtrack and a new single featuring Gesaffelstein.
Rockstar Games has confirmed that French electronic duo Justice composed the original score for Grand Theft Auto VI, with an official soundtrack album scheduled for release on December 11, 2026.
The Grammy-winning duo, consisting of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, have created an adaptive score designed to respond to how players experience Vice City and the wider state of Leonida.
In an announcement published on October 29, Rockstar revealed that the score will receive a standalone release featuring 30 tracks, alongside additional digital bonus material.
The announcement also coincided with the release of a new Justice single, Pusher, featuring fellow French electronic artist Gesaffelstein.
GTA 6’s score will adapt to how players experience the game
Unlike the licensed songs that have traditionally defined Grand Theft Auto’s radio stations, Justice’s original compositions will provide music that accompanies the game’s wider narrative and gameplay.
Rockstar describes the score as adaptive, with compositions that change dynamically depending on how players interact with the game’s world.
That could make the music an important part of the atmosphere throughout Jason and Lucia’s story, rather than something confined to specific missions or cinematic sequences.
Speaking about the project, Justice’s Xavier de Rosnay explained that GTA 6’s enormous scope required a soundtrack capable of capturing different emotions, genres and musical textures.
According to Music Week, the duo collaborated closely with Rockstar throughout the composition process, with considerable freedom to explore different musical directions.
The approach builds on Rockstar’s previous work with original scoring. Grand Theft Auto V featured contributions from Tangerine Dream, Woody Jackson, The Alchemist and Oh No, helping establish a distinctive musical identity alongside its licensed radio soundtrack.
Justice’s GTA 6 soundtrack features major collaborations
The upcoming score album will include Flower in a Hurricane, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
The song was previously heard in GTA 6’s launch trailer, offering players an early taste of the game’s musical direction.
Rockstar has also released Pusher, featuring Gesaffelstein, as another preview of Justice’s work on the project.
The full album is scheduled to arrive on December 11 across major streaming platforms, CD and vinyl.
A standard three-LP vinyl edition and a limited crystal-clear vinyl pressing are among the available physical formats, alongside a two-disc CD release.
As Video Games Chronicle reports, physical preorders are already available.
The album’s release date falls several weeks after GTA 6 itself, which is scheduled to launch on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
GTA 6 will also have a separate soundtrack album
It’s worth distinguishing Justice’s original score from the game’s wider collection of licensed and original songs.
Rockstar has separately announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a 34-track release scheduled to arrive alongside the game on November 19.
That collection features music from a range of artists, including Travis Scott, Yung Lean, PinkPantheress, Cardi B and others.
Justice’s 30-track score album is a separate release, focusing on the compositions created to accompany the game itself.
Grand Theft Auto has long been associated with memorable soundtracks, from the neon-soaked radio stations of Vice City to the eclectic musical selection of GTA V.
With GTA 6 returning to Vice City and introducing an enormous new open world, music will once again play a significant role in establishing its identity.
The involvement of Justice, whose work combines electronic, rock and cinematic influences, suggests Rockstar is pursuing a distinctive sound for its latest entry.
Players won’t have long to wait to hear how those compositions work within the game, with GTA 6 currently set for release on November 19.
